Welcome to Alif Cars and Travelers. By booking or using our taxi and private-hire services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
- General Information
Alif Cars and Travelers provides private-hire transport services within the United Kingdom. All bookings are accepted subject to these Terms and Conditions.
- Bookings
• Bookings can be made online, by phone, or by email.
• The person making the booking must ensure all details (pick-up time, location, number of passengers, luggage, etc.) are correct.
• Prices quoted at the time of booking are based on the information provided. Additional charges may apply if the journey changes. - Payments
• Payments can be made by cash, debit/credit card, or online payment (including Apple Pay, PayPal, etc.).
• All fares are quoted in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
• Waiting time and parking charges may apply for airport or station collections. - Cancellations and Refunds
• Cancellations made at least 2 hours before pick-up time are fully refundable.
• Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged in full.
• Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 5–10 business days. - Delays and Liability
• We always aim to arrive on time, but we are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
• Alif Cars and Travelers is not responsible for any loss, damage, or missed flights due to delays outside our control. - Passenger Conduct
• Passengers must wear seatbelts and follow the driver’s safety instructions.
• Smoking, vaping, or consumption of alcohol/drugs is strictly prohibited in vehicles.
• The company reserves the right to refuse service to any person under the influence or behaving abusively. - Luggage
• Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings.
• The company accepts no liability for loss or damage to luggage or personal items left in vehicles. - Airport Transfers
• Passengers must allow sufficient time for airport transfers, considering traffic and check-in times.
• The company monitors flight arrivals, but waiting charges may apply after a reasonable grace period. - Child Seats
• Child seats can be provided upon request during booking.
• Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring correct use and installation. - Data Protection
• Personal information is collected solely for booking and communication purposes and handled in compliance with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR.
• We do not share customer data with third parties except as required by law. - Complaints
• Any complaints should be sent to info@alifcarsandtravelers.com within 7 days of travel.
• We will investigate and respond promptly. - Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
